Momenta Quartet at Cornell University


Momenta continues its multi-year project with musicologist Alejandro Madrid performing the thirteen string quartets of Mexican composer Julian Carrillo (1875-1965) as well as performing works by Cornell faculty.

featuring works by Roberto Sierra, Marianthi Papalexandri-Alexandri, and Kevin Ernste.

The Carrillo Project
Works by Julian Carrillo, including String Quartet No. 5 (1937), the world-premiere of String Quartet No. 12 (1964), and the Piano Quintet with pianist Ryan McCullough.
Klarman Hall

April 18, 8pm
The Carrillo Project
World-premieres of String Quartet Nos. 9 and 10 (1959) and a repeat performance of the Piano Quintet with pianist Ryan McCullough.
